About

My name is Myles Pierce, and I am a documentary photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. My work consists of capturing the rhythm and energy of everyday life, particularly focusing on Black culture. These types of photographs are something that I connect with on a personal level. Overall, I aim to capture moments that some often overlook. With complete transparency, I tend to not have a clear goal in mind when I am out photographing; instead, I find myself guided by moments that unfold before me. My photography embodies the subjective interpretation of the world around me. I view photography as a versatile art form that can be shaped by personal meaning and purpose, like life itself. I’m driven by a desire to find meaning in the world and highlight the human condition, and I want to share my experiences and perspective on a larger scale. I hope you enjoy my work, and thank you for taking the time to view my site.
